Amusing Theism story

My sister is a Jehovah's witness, with children and a husband also in the faith. Recently I was going through my old stuff, and found a stack of comics from when I was a youth (Back when the dinosaurs were still roaming the earth...) and thought that my nephew might want to read them. So, I gave them to my sister, who immediately rejected the several dozen "Mad" magazines, but took my "Batman 'vs Judge Dredd" series. Is the message here that vigilantism, violence, and supernatural themes are all right but parody, comedy and humor is not?

Is the message HERE that vigilantism, violence and the supernatural, are to be associated exclusively with theism?

I do know that any action series I possessed, never mentioned religion at all... but, everyone was trying to take over the world...

  2. I would say that vigilantism, violence and the supernatural are not solely associated with theism, but at least we atheists can laugh about it.
